“Despite having used Yellow Interiors many years ago for work on our old office, I decided to go out to tender for our 2016 New office refurbishment as it was such a large project and I wanted to make sure I got the right team involved.  Happily we once again chose to use Yellow from our shortlist of four contractors, based largely on the Colin’s enthusiasm to work together with us on many of the design challenges and also within our very tight timescales.

Colin and his team were easy to work with and once the phased plan of works was agreed upon they wasted no time getting started with the demolition and refurbishment of the first phase which was to reinstate the warehouse part of our building. The guys were always in first thing and hard at work by the time I arrived. Colin and I had regular meetings to discuss changes to the design which as most of it was on the fly was extremely fluid some of the time and he showed extraordinary flexibility in accommodating these changes.

All the sub-contractors Colin brought in were excellent and where I had specified suppliers to use his crew got on with them perfectly.  We had a very tight deadline to vacate our old building and the Yellow boys worked tirelessly to get the office ready for that deadline and where due to planning delays things were not completely finished they put measures in place to accommodate us and were excellent at keeping any disruption to a minimum for that brief period.

The whole experience was actually a joy and working alongside Colin and his team was an absolute pleasure. I got a whole lot of satisfaction from this project, which was a significant departure from my everyday role at Penguins and Colin was very co-operative and understanding in trying to deliver what we wanted.  The whole company loves working in the new office and even a year on new visitors to the building are bowled over by it and we get lots of great comments about how good it looks.
